Today we continue to remember Elizabeth Taylor, we watch President Obama get locked out of his own house, and we drink our beef jerkey over ice. Plus, there’s an artist making masterpieces out of her vomit, and people are going around taking naked photos of themselves in the snow in NYC.

1. Elizabeth Taylor was on the front page of every NYC newspaper today: [Terry'sDiary]

2. Last Friday, @Lock and some other Montauk folks were discussing the Shagwong which recently hit the market. Who should buy it? etc. So, it came with no surprise to see this news item a week later in the NY Post. Ha. Oh the poor Post. Anyway, really though, who should snatch up this hot piece of property? IMHO it almost has to be a burly local. For some actual cutting edge real estate news stories, skip the Post and go here: [Curbed]

3. Ew. Check out this artist Millie Brown who is making Pollock inspired paintings out of her VOMIT (yes you read that correctly) [Animal]

8. I’m in Los Angeles this week so I don’t get my news in the same cycle as my East Coast friends. I may have been 3 hrs behind you guys, but I still spit.out.my.morning.coffee upon reading about the $41 million invested in a photo sharing app named “Color” today. I’m officially on bubble burst watch. Read all about Color at top of Tech Files here: [TECH]

9. Crazy things go on in the Midwest. For instance, people are drinking their beef jerky. Seriously, I’d like to see some hipsters in Williamsburg top that. [Chicago]

10. Taylor Swift is in her hotel room in Dublin writing a song RIGHT NOW. How exciting. I hope it’s about Jake, or John, or something.[Twitter]

12. Erica Simone shovels in Snowed on 4th Street. Her self-shot Nue York series — which never got her arrested, thanks to speed and guts — also features the photographer jogging on the West Side Highway, getting a haircut at a Little Italy barber shop, and browsing books in the NYU library. All nude. [Flavorwire]
